SKC will start August 21st, 2023.
SKC is held at Asbell, Butterfield, Happy Hollow, Holcomb, Leverett, Owl Creek, Root, Vandergriff and Washington. SKC meets in each school’s cafeteria with the exception of Leverett and Washington, which meet in the gym. SKC operates Monday through Friday from 2:45pm to 6pm.
Registration and payment must be completed prior to your child attending the program.
All registration must be completed via our online registration system.
Children will participate in daily homework help and be offered a variety of activities each day including: board games, arts and crafts, outside play (weather permitting), card games and recreational activities. Snack will be provided each day.
All participants must have a membership to the Donald W. Reynolds Boys and Girls Club that will remain active for the duration of the program and pay a yearly SKC registration fee. Student Memberships are $65 and the non refundable SKC registration fee is $30 per year.
Full-time tuition is $225 per month. A drop-in rate of $60 is also available for those attending 5 or fewer days per month. A late pick-up fee of $1 per minute will be imposed after 6pm. Late fee will be due to the staff upon parents' arrival.
Tuition payments are due at the beginning of the month your child will be attending. A late fee of $20 will be applied if payment is received after the 6th of the month. We utilize an auto draft option system that will be set up at the time of registration. All auto draft payments are processed on the 6th (or following business day) of each month. DHS vouchers are accepted.
ALP is held at Holt and McNair Middle Schools and meets in the school cafeteria. ALP operates Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm.

Children will participate in PowerHour (homework help) and other Boys & Girls Club programs such as Money Matters (financial literacy), Torch Club (small group leadership), Club Tech (technology training), and more. A snack is provided daily along with outside activities. Lesson plans and activities vary based on the students’ interests.
Field trips are usually taken once a month in accordance with scheduled activities. A schedule will be posted giving the time and location of all field trips.
